Note: The following information is for those who have purchased CD-Rom versions of Hasbro's Scrabble games. You can now find an updated version of Scrabble at GameHouse. This new version doesn't require a CD and uses the updated dictionary (OSPD4) as its word list.

Custom dictionaries (words only, no definitions, complete and updated to reflect the most recent changes for 2007) for the Hasbro CD games:

Download dictionary for Version 1 (blue CD). Install game, unzip WORDLIST.DAW, copy file to the game's root folder, default installation ...\Scrabble\. Will allow you to play against Maven from the full, uncensored list, but will not define words from the new list.

Download dictionary for Version 2 (red CD). After installing the game, unzip NAList.DAW, copy this file to your ...\Hasbro Interactive\Scrabble v2.0\MavenNA folder. Will let you play against Maven from the full, uncensored list, but will not define words from the new list. Though I haven't tested it yet, this will probably also work with Hasbro's Scrabble Complete game as well. Might be under a different file name.

Other stuff for you Maven junkies out there:

Color-fix Patch - This patch for version 1 of the Hasbro CD Scrabble game allows you to play in hicolor+ modes, thus eliminating those pesky 256 color-mode error messages. Just follow the installation instructions in the scrabfix text file included in the scrabfix.zip package. Thanks to ToneDef for this color-fix patch!

NOCD Patch - This patch allows you to play version 2 of the Hasbro CD Scrabble game without having to have your disk in the drive. Simply extract the contents of this patch into the folder where your game is installed saying yes to any file overwrites when prompted.

Hard-drive installation - Learn how to install v1 of the Hasbro CD game to your hard-drive.
